@transfer1280 that won’t do anything because they have no email to check. Thats likely just how their system is made up and created.
@keepthatsmile you dont get a email about the time or date of decision but based on what other people said people who’s pin trick worked are getting decisions tomorrow
I’m quite confused about the validity of this pin trick. If you say you forgot your password, isn’t it simply standard to receive an email and a new pin to reset your portal password? How is this indicative of a decision?
@anonymous1423 the pin trick has worked for the last 2 or 3 years. It works only when your decision is made. The email you receive sends you information to help you access your portal where the decision can be shown. that is why the pin trick shows if your decision has been made.
Does anybody know what time they will be sending out the first round of decisions tomorrow? Is it at 10am EST?
Also, is the first round mainly TO students?
The first round has historically been mostly TO acceptances and non-TO rejections. This is not guaranteed to be the case again though and some non-TOs do get accepted so don’t worry if your pin trick works as a non-TO. As for time, I would assume it is EST because thats Cornell’s time zone.
Has anyones pin trick worked?
Pin trick hasn’t worked for me either and I’m TO
Did anyone else receive this email from Cornell just now?
“The Selection Committee would like to know your credits for your current courses.
Could you please email the current courses to me along with your credits beside them?”
I am currently a freshman applying for transfer, non TO.
@navy23uni - its probably cuz you are a freshman lol.
@navy23uni did you send in your midterm report?
@DrewGonz19 Yah I did, so I’m guessing its safe to assume I’m not getting a decision tomorrow if they are asking for my classes’ credit.
@navy23uni what school did you apply for?
Hey did anyone get a phone call from Cornell? I got a phone call from Cornell university before April 10th, reminding me to get all my supplements in, but it was so early in the admission process and I was weirded out because the deadline is April 15 and usually they will send out emails.
@navy23uni Congrats!!! That means you are probably in! Cornell doesn’t ask about additional info from students they don’t want.
Since no one’s pin trick is working including the TOs who have been called and told they were accepted, decisions are most likely starting next week.
@navy23uni when did you submit your. app?
They called students and told them they were accepted?
Also who else is in quarantine and this is literally the only thing keeping them busy / giving them something to look forward to
@navy23uni your likely accepted. unless there was a issue and they weren’t able to see how many credits you had gotten from your midterm report, but I doubt thats the case. Congrats man, thats a big accomplishment and hoping everything stays positive.
