I need help deciding, definitely more towards one than the other. Though, I feel that either way I go, I'll be turning down an amazing school. I'm going to both this weekend, but I'm very torn!

I don’t think the two really compare in terms of academics.

I an understand your puzzlement. Both schools are great. My son is trying to decide between UVA School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Cornell Engineering. Each are tier 1 schools and have name recognition. We’re from Virginia. Cornell is far and hard to get to. Should would use Cornell simply because its an IVY? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Cornell is sooooo much better than BC. Unless money is a factor, Cornell would be your best.

Cornell has a world-class and world-recognized engineering school–engineering school alumni are positioned throughout industry and throughout the world. So, unless you are planning to live in Boston for the rest of your life this is a huge plus for Cornell. Cornell also has one of the most beautiful campuses in the country.

But remember–if you choose Cornell–you will be living in an isolated community with a depressed economy–the isolation and the economy change how people interact with each other and not in a good way.

BC does not have an engineering program, so if you want engineering you should go to Cornell.
