cornell vs cmu vs umich vs u of i

does anyone from engineering have anything about these schools? i still cant decide! i have no idea where i'm gonna go and i really don't think by the end of this month i'll know. so if you have any good or bad things about these schools please bring them up!

so far i like that umich and cmu is decently ranked for business and engineering. u of i is close to chicago and their engineering is highly ranked. cons: umich and u of i are all taught by TAs. cmu is sorta decked as nerdyy.
for cornell i love that its in the ivy especially coming from my school. but the problem is that it is so far away from everything that the closest airport is in syracuse.

alrightyy thanks for your help!

There's an airport (albiet very small) in Ithaca...

yeah there is an airport in ithaca. Cornell is a really vibrant community it doesnt matter that not much nearby

Yes, Cornell is very vibrant and you will be busy on campus. However, it is always nice to get off campus and go downtown, to syracuse, or on mini road trips into the country side. While many do not reccommend bringing a car, it is a great idea if you have one at your disposal. It makes it much easier to get off campus when you are so over-whelmed with work and need a break. There is a crappy mall, a lot of restaurants, cool supermarket (Wegmans), and other things to do.
