Cornell vs. UCLA (out of state) vs. Middlebury

I am completely torn right now on deciding where to attend. I am not sure what I want to major in yet (liberal arts of some kind, am down as an Econ major at all three schools) and plan on using my first year or so in college to figure that out. I recently visited UCLA and was completely blown away by it, and plan on visiting the others soon. I don’t really know what I want in a school either: I am happy to go to a massive school like UCLA but could also see myself at a tiny liberal arts college like Middlebury. I know that Cornell has the “Ivy League prestige” and great alumni network, but I shouldn’t choose just because of that. The SoCal weather does seem a lot more inviting than the cold, dark winters of Ithaca and Vermont.

What are some pros and cons for each school? What do you think I should choose? Price isn’t a deciding factor.

Where do you want your connections, east or west?

Maybe roll a dice. If you’re unhappy with the result or feel the urge to roll again, that’s one college to cross off the list

Cornell!!!

Paying out of state tuition for a public school ain’t worth it!
