Based on business schools or business/finance majors, which of the following is the hardest to get into? Can someone rank them in order of difficulty of admissions?

Cornell: ILR or SHA

Washington & Lee: Williams

Georgetown: McDonough

University of Texas: McCombs

U North Carolina: Kenan-Flagler

Villanova: Villanova

Are there any schools similar to these that would be recommended?

Thanks for the insight Colene. Isn’t the business program at AEM more theory than practice? These are the schools I’m considering and most are reaches for me, but I was just curious about the difficulty of admissions so I can map my chances at each school. Cornell has been my dream for so long, but I’m realizing that my chances are very slim and I need to consider others. Are there any other schools that are similar to Cornell? I like the general atmosphere there.

Also, are you a student or alumnus Colene? You seem to know a lot about Cornell.

Its not that clear-cut, but I would say Georgetown. Some of the ones you have listed like W&L just offer regular undergraduate admission, so it really wouldnt matter what major you’re applying as.

SHA is a business program and its difficult to get into if you dont have any actual hospitality experience
