I’m gonna be so mad if that CAS survey didn’t serve as a likely because it really got my hopes up high.
same @JimmyHart they raised my hopes and now I’m ready to go there next year and my mind already thinks that is where I’m going to go, it’s agony right now waiting from them, I hope that survey could’ve been sent more recently so the wait until admissions wouldn’t be so long
Facts
Does anyone think there will still be movement off the waitlist for schools that already took some people off two weeks ago?
I think there will be movement!
I got this email last week:
Greetings from Cornell University!
The College of Arts & Sciences is currently preparing for potential waitlist activity in May and you are in a group of students at the top of our list. At this time—and before we start re-reviewing applications—we would like to confirm that you remain interested in attending Cornell in the fall semester.
Thanks! But what about schools like Dyson who already took people off?
Anyone heard from humec?
Seems like no movement from ILR even before 5/1. Does that mean ILR is done for the year or it is taking cautious steps to eval people on WL?
Haven’t heard from CALS either
Last year decisions started coming out tomorrow
Wondering when ILR will start to have some movement.
Any word from engineering?
Only 3% of students were taken from the waitlist in the past years - http://irp.dpb.cornell.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Profile2018-Freshmen2.pdf
Hope it is better this year!
CHE is usually last to hear from
Last year the first acceptance from the waitlist (onCC) was on the 1st Monday after May 1. Maybe they start today…?
It’s too late, next chance is tomorrow
@chickennoodlesoupppppp Last year, 2019, May 1 was on Wednesday . They had a day for review and then released results on Friday. Year before that, 2018, they released results on a Thursday as May 1 was on Tuesday. The pattern seems to be May 1, review for a day and release WL results next day. So today is the day for Cornell, I hope.
Did anyone hear anything yet?
Nope. I just keep checking my email. Like others have said my mind is just set on going there next year because of the email they sent me.
Tell me why I got a scam call from a NY area code and I answered it so quickly and enthusiastically … my anxiety levels are through the roof right now lmao
