Has anyone heard/know when decisions on waitlisted applicants come out? For me, I'm anxiously waiting to hear from the Hotel School. Thanks!

Please post if you hear anything about Cornel waitlisted applicants being notified.

Haven’t heard as of yet

How many people do you think will be admitted from the wait list this year?

My friend got in off the waitlist today

I got off the wait list today, accepted into CALS! Good luck guys!

@dietcokeismylyfe do you know which school within Cornell he applied to?

@7latemodel congrats!!! Did they call u?

can someone fill me in on the different school codes within Cornell? Like CALS

College of Engineering
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS)
College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)
School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR)
College of Human Ecology
College of Architecture, Art, and Planning
School of Hotel Administration

I think that the three above are the only ones that are commonly abbreviated.

thanks!

I got off the wait list too. Have you guys received FA package yet? Cornell is 100% need based school. Does that mean you will pay EFC and nothing more? I’m hoping they will provide the same aid as they would have if admitted through regular decision about a month ago. Because some cancellations, causes few people to be taken off the WL.

Congrats @Collegebound1111 !!!
which college?

Anyone get in from CAS WL pool?

Is waitlist rolling decisions?

Did you get an email?

Does Cornell engineering usually go to the wait list?

As with all of Cornell’s schools, it differs from year to year. But…last year 20 of the 500 waitlisted students from engineering were accepted.

I’m seeing here that people have gotten their offers off the waitlist. I was waitlisted for Dyson AEM and CAS Economics. What I’m worried about is that I didn’t submit my acceptance on the waitlist properly or something. Are these offers given on a rolling basis or have all rejections and acceptances been sent out already?

The WL is managed by each department, so it is very hard to tell whether one department will fill the gap with WL. But based on last year and this year’s statistics and the postings from others, some departments are using their WLs.

If someone got off the CALS waitlist, then should we assume those offers are already out? I was waitlisted at CALS and haven’t gotten an email yet…
