Cornell's Campus, Enormous?

Yeah they have horses. They even have a polo team. You can read all about it, one of the " Life on the Hill" bloggers is on it.

Campus is great for walking and Collegetown is easy to navigate as well. It’s really not that overwhelming if you have 15 minutes to spare for some exercise and to get the blood flowing. Walking and higher education go hand in hand. different schools within cornell are centered around the same areas, and as was mentioned above, you will spend most of your time taking classes in same general part of campus. Even then, the distance isn’t as great as it seems.

Just be careful of the ice in the winter. I’m from western ny, so i’m used to the treachery, and even I took a spill this past winter. the grounds crew is good at staying ahead of the snow and salting for ice, but the salt always leaves stains on your shoes.

I like the size of the campus. It makes it so it never feels like 20,000 students.

Oh I’m not afraid of walking. My current school is on a hill. From the lowest parking lot to the central part of the school is 25 stories. I’ve been spoiled in NorCal with great weather but I have lived in Philly so being brutalized by the cold isn’t too foreign to me.
