Im just about to attend college and I'm having a massive dilemma determining whether or not I want to go into pre-law or go strictly accounting and finance. See Im a numbers person but I love to be mentally stimulated with problems at hand and figuring out situations. I also debate like its my job. But from what I've read up on corporate law, it seems like everyone hates it b/c it takes up to much of their time and its a horrible environment. My main question is should I go corporate law and have money or go accounting and have time for a family?

You can major in accounting and/or finance and decide later whether to go to law school. There is no prescribed undergraduate course of study for admittance to law school.

accounting takes almost just as much time

its not really a problem since you can take accounting or finance and take law after, that way you become a more competitive corporate lawyer if you choose law and or stay as an accountant/ finance person if you don't pursue law
