Correcting bonehead mistakes in css profile

I recently competed the 2008/09 CSS Financial Aid PROFILE asnd much to my everlasting horror( or even worse, I fear) I see AFTER proofing and SUBMISSION that I made a few truly boneheaded errors, such as repeating, under two of our children, the current aid and college costs associated with the only ONE in college. In other words, I made an erroneous duplication. I also checked by error that my current college senior will NOT be attending college in 2009-2010. She will be.

Is it possible to correct these errors?

How consequential are these errors?

Thanks,

I believe you have to make CSS profile corrections by mail. I don't think there is a way to do it online.

But shouldn't you have completed the 2009-2010 profile which is for the 2009-2010 school year starting next fall rather than the 2008-2009 one which is for the current year?

You will need to contact each school you submitted the Profile to & ask how they want it corrected. I made a couple mistakes & had to do different things for different schools.

If you plan on sending the Profile out to other schools down the road, you may be able to just do a whole new Profile with the correct info for those schools. You can check that with Profile.
