Correlation between SAT percentile and difficulty

<p>This is in regards to the October 5th, 2013 SAT I test.</p>

<p>Math is 760 and at 97% percentile
CR is 700 and is at 95% percentile</p>

<p>What can be understood from this data? Shouldn't the percentile for both be lower?</p>

<p>Does this mean this 10/5/13 SAT test was harder than usual?</p>

<p>The percentiles aren’t just based on this SAT, they’re based on every SAT for this year’s senior class. And yaa, apparently Cr is a lot harder to do well. 99 percentile was at 760 while a 770 in math is only 98</p>
