hi are any of you guys applying to the uc irvine: chemical biology extracting molecules from nature cluster? I heard its new this year
I don’t have a single math or science ec, but I have taken many honors and ap math and sciences. How bad is it to not have math or science ec’s?
I just turned in my application. I applied to UCSD for Cluster 1 (Computers in Everyday Life) and Cluster 4 (When Disaster Strikes: Earthquake Engineering).
Turned in my app last night for UCSD Cluster 1 (Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine) and Cluster 3 (Living Oceans and Global Climate Change)!
@420giraffemonkey Have you looked at previous COSMOS threads? I’m sure that it won’t matter as much as your essays, so if you wrote strong essays then you should be fine! I’m not apart of any science/math EC’s either 
@bellefauna I thought cluster 1 was computers in everyday life haha.

I applied to the UCD Biomed cluster! I only found out about this program recently and I forgot to save my work so I had to restart all my essays 
I think they came out okay, though a little disorganized. Does anyone know how competitive UCD Biomed is?
As far as I know, it’s pretty competitive. I applied too, and I’m really nervous.

@lkim00 I did that last year, I had to rewrite everything super fast…
From previous threads, apparently UCD Bio-whatever clusters are the most competitive out of all the clusters
Is there anyone that attended or know if Cluster 1 (Computers in Everyday Life) at UCSD is really competitive or not?
Should I be worried if my transcript and confirmation page are still marked as “N” on the Application status page? I sent both of them out on February 16.
@Cornbread1999 no, don’t be worried. The Application Status page says that “Due to high volumes, this page may not reflect receipt of materials until after the application deadline has passed.”
Don’t worry, mine are still like that too and I got confirmation that the envelope arrived.

@kattymiao it was something through UPS not COSMOS. But mine updated today through the online app and says what they received
