applied for intro to astrophysics at ucd
How does the first choice/second choice cluster acceptance decision work? For example if cluster 1 is my first choice and cluster 2 is my second choice, what happens to my application if I don’t get cluster #1? Does it go into the general pool with all the other cluster 2 apps? Or do the applicants that selected cluster 2 as their first choice get priority? Or is it the opposite, does my app get priority over the cluster 2 apps because I was rejected from my first choice. Does anyone know??
Decisions come out in 3 days. Lots of my friends applied. Good luck guys!

@APboy, I believe so, because the COSMOS home page says: “APPLICATION STATUS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 14TH, 2017 AFTER 5PM (PDT)”
Yep they sent rejection emails at the same time as the acceptance ones last year
I’ll be watching a movie at the time decisions come out, so I’ll be anxious throughout it 
I will be doing nothing all day instead of studying for AP tests because of me being super nervous. Also, My SAT scores come out tomorrow so Thursday and Friday will either be Dubs or L’s

I’ve heard they’ve sent decisions out an hour early before without warning. Does anybody know if this is true, or will they be released at exactly 5?

@myactualname I don’t think so. I heard from previous threads that the decisions go something like Davis, Santa Cruz, Irvine, and San Diego throughout the day!
At least Davis is first! I’m applying for UCD C7 (Biomedical Sciences) and C9 (Mathematical Modeling of Bio Systems).
