COSMOS 2019

@GoBears2023 i think you were waitlisted and then got accepted, cause all decisions come out on the same day. Waitlist decisions come out in April :slight_smile:

@imevemy

No, I was accepted on April 15th for the Mathematics Cluster at UC Davis. The notification system may have changed since then maybe?

@GoBears2023 ahh yea maybe, cause im just referencing this off my friend who got off the waitlist in like april.

@imevemy Could be. Who know? :slight_smile:

any updates from people who have “pending transcript”?

Call the COSMOS statewide line if your status still says pending transcript, if they haven’t updated it by now, they most likely have not received it. As long as you can prove it was delivered and sent before the deadline, you should be fine.

Y’all i know this is heckaaa late, but how competitive is ucsd cluster 7 sythnetic bio??

@imevemy

Pretty competitive. Anything bio is hard to get into

does anyone know how competitive ucsd cluster 6 biofuels from renewable sources is?

@treehugger14

I don’t think it is too competitive, given that environmental sciences isn’t such a popular academic interest area. However, bio in general is pretty competitive, so who knows.

@imevemy Has your “In Review” status changed lately?

@awesomeprick Yes. It depends on the campus you applied to though.

@holdmypencil123 So after “In Review” status changed, it will show the final decision in your account now?

@awesomeprick I meant it shows “in review” in my application now. The decisions come out on March 29th.

does anyone know the order in which decisions are released by campus?

@treehugger14 All the decisions are released on March 29th, shortly after 5 PM.

@holdmypencil123 yes, but don’t some campuses release their decisions a little later? like I heard san diego releases them last out of all the campuses. idk tho

Does anyone know how competitive Cluster 4: Astrophysics is at UC Davis?

@applesauce4716 i heard that last year it had an acceptance rate of 10-15% so it’s kind of competitive

I checked my application, and even though I said my GPA was 3.8 UW, they changed it to 3.68?? I think this is because I transferred to a new school that doesn’t “count” some classes from my freshman year on my transcript. I knew this would happen so I sent transcripts from my old school and my new school, so all my classes are counted, but the application reviewers must’ve only looked at one. Should I call and ask them to fix it, or is it pointless?
