Cost for Out-of-staters

What is the tuition for out-of-state students? Some schools (mostly private schools) award scholarship money to students depending of their GPA and SAT/ACT Scores. Does Texas do that , too (as you can see, I am an out-of-state applicant looking for #, not a loan!).

UT has waivers for some people, so they only end up paying in-state tuition (if they're out of state)

Mario, check out this link:

UT offers a waiver on the out-of state portion of tuition for National Merit Scholar Finalists, National Achievement Scholars, and National Hispanic Scholars.

My son received the NM scholarship as well as a scholarship from the College of Engineering based on his application (and presumably SAT scores). It essentially covers his tuition and fees.
