To what extent does UT-Austin give merit scholarships to OOS Students?

I'm not an expert so I hope someone else will have something to say but from what I understand:

UT doesn't give much merit award in general, I'm guessing the case would be the same for OOS. I filled out the scholarship application and I think only one or two of those did not specify "in financial need".

Thanks Adam!

anyone else know about OOS merit awards?

I second what adam7261 said.
UT barely gives that much merit awards to in-state students, so OOS will probably get less.

I think it is automatic instate tuition if you are a NMF - but I could be wrong....

The only scholarship opportunity for people from out-of-state that I know of is for National Merit, which does give in-state tuition plus a $1000 yearly stipend.

But other than that, I'd suggest just searching through the scholarship information they have, but don't expect there to be much else.
