Cost of Attendance

According to UMich's website University of Michigan Office of Financial Aid: Cost of Attendance, the cost for 4 years in state is about $80k (just including tuition, room and board). I heard, though, that tuition is likely to increase. What should I count on the cost being? A lot more than $80k? Also, I'm considering doing a five year masters. How much would that end up costing? If it affects anything, I'm going to the college of engineering.

$20k seems a little low. I think that would be just tuition and room and board. You need to add another $5k for books, insurance, transportation, entertainment etc... And you can add roughly 5%-10% annually in tuition hikes and you should also factor in that tuition for upperclassmen is slightly higher than tuition for Freshmen and Sophomores. Also, graduate school tends to be more expensive. So, I would say in the end, it will cost you roughly the following:

Freshman Year: $23,000
Sophomore yeaR: $25,000
Junior Year: $29,000
Senior Year: $31,000
Master's: $40,000

TOTAL: So, over 5 years, we are talking about $145,000-$150,000.

A realistic number to use would probably be about $25k/year average

This year for me:
$5,129 LSA Lower
$7,126 Engin Upper
$6450 12 month lease
$1000 guess at cable/gas/electric/water (~7512, rounded up to 1000)
$2500 food estimate (~20012, rounded up to 2500)

That comes out to about $22k. Upper-division engineering will add $2000, so I am guessing my junior year costs $25,000 (lease is a little less ~$5000 for upcoming year)
