<p>The HMC website is still showing the 2011-12 cost. Does anyone have the new cost numbers for 12-13? I figure maybe they have been sent to current Mudd students already, even though the web site is not updated.</p>

<p>Is there some kind of student fee as well? </p>
<p>Even without the student fee, that is a 4.88% increase from last year. The largest percentage increase of the 12 colleges on my high school junior daughter’s list, pushing the 4 year cost of attendance (including travel) to over $270,000.</p>
<p>The student body fee was $270 last year.</p>
<p>As a note, the estimated board cost is for the 16-meal plan. The 12-meal plan should be somewhere around $5600 and the 8-meal plan should be around $4000, estimating off the 2011-12 figures.</p>

<p>I believe that the president has said to expect roughly 5% annually. You can probably trim a bit from books and supplies. Given the large core, a lot of used textbooks are available.
