Tuition for A&M 2012-2013?

So as far as I was aware, I thought that tuition for A&M was around $10,000 per academic year. However, I've been doing some research and I've seen that tuition is actually $20,000. Can anybody confirm which one it really is? I know that college tuition has been going up a lot but $20,000 seems like a lot for A&M.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

cost of attending Texas A&M for 2012-2013 is increasing.
But here is the cost of attending for 2011-2012 as an undergrad

there is a calculator here

I noticed on the first link that room and board is $8,200. I think that’s way too much because at the most expensive, dorms are $2,500 per semester which would be about $5,000 per year.

dorm price doesn’t include the food plan. If you add in the food plan that should be about right.

Ah, I see. Well, in that case, I really hope that I get plenty of scholarships. I’m planning on going to A&M for fall 2012 and so far, I’ve only received the Reagents Scholarship…hopefully more scholarships will be on their way.

Tuition is around 8 grand, not 20 grand. The total cost for everything is predicted around 20 grand for an average in-state student. The estimated price for the rest (room and board, food, books, personal expenses) are all subjective, because you ultimately make the calls about what dorms you’ll live in, what meal plan you’ll buy, where you’ll get your books, etc.
