Hi there,
I am an out of state student hoping to one day go to UH Manoa for Marine Biology. I'm very curious as to the actual price per year it would be to attend as an out out state student. I have heard many numbers, such as $36,000 a year to $15,000 a year.

<a href=“Tuition schedule for the 10-campuses of the University of Hawaii System”>http://www.hawaii.edu/finaid/tuition.html indicates that non-resident tuition is $30,696 for a year of full time attendance in 2015-2016. However, if you get the Western Undergraduate Exchange discount, the tuition is $15,876 (1.5 times the resident tuition).

Non-tuition expenses for 2014-2015 were $16,994, based on http://www.hawaii.edu/fas/downloads/2014-2015/2014-2015%20Cost%20of%20Attendance.pdf .

So the total non-resident cost will probably be about $47,690 ($32,870 if you have the WUE discount).

Oh my gosh that alot! And Im not from the west part of america…so idk
