Hi! I hope everyone is safe and well
I am currently a sophomore at another UC (UCSD/UCSB), and I applied to UCLA and UCB for Applied Math.
It’s such a huge pain to wait for the decision to come out in April, especially when I am literally locked inside my room all day, and I was hoping if anyone passing by could chance me for the schools.
GPA: 3.85/4.00
Major GPA: 4.00/4.00 (A+ in every lower div math course and most of the CS and physics courses I’ve taken)
EC (college): been working as an instructional assistant of math course since fall, leadership position at an organization devoted to science and engineering, an iOS development project,
EC (high school): VP of high school hockey club (varsity), two research projects on renewable energy (nothing too special)
My biggest concern is that I don’t have any strong EC related to math, even when I am applying to the math department.
Any opinion is welcome, and if you could share any tips on how to not worry too much about the decision, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance
