Howdy! I’m Claude, and I live in Springfield, Illinois. I really like Washington University in St. Louis, Northwestern and NYU, and I have applied to all three. While I am hoping to go to UCLA or Berkeley, these three schools are the other part of my top 5, and I would be overjoyed if I got in; however, I was wondering just how much I should be praying to the Voodoo fire gods of college acceptance. I shall now throw some stats at you.
-Weighted GPA: 5.67
-Unweighted GPA: 3.96
-ACT score: 35
-I have taken/will take around 10 AP classes, and so far I have gotten two fives and a four on the tests
-Varsity Scholastic Bowl Player
-Write for my city’s newspaper
-Work Experience as a professional tutor
-Pretty good amount of volunteer hours
-President of Latin Club
-Nominated for several state/international leadership conference thingies
-Pretty kick butt essays, if I do say so myself. Haha or at least I hope so.
-National Merit Commended
-Several state Latin awards
-Illinois Scholar award

Currently the only university I have been accepted to has been LSU (the only other university I’ve heard back from is Stanford… that didn’t turn out well haha), and I would very much like to have options other than Louisiana, though I wouldn’t hate going there.
