Could I get a Financial Aid??

I'm currently in 8th grade, and I homeschool. I really, really, really, want to go to this boarding high school in MA called Phillips Academy Andover, but man, I can NOT afford 33,000 dollars a year.

Although I still have to study extremely hard to even qualify, money is a problem. The school is offering a financial aid, but i'm not a U.S. citizen- but a legal resident- and i heard it's really hard to get one in my case. i'm on E2 visa, which we have to renew every two years. and according to my parents, its impossible to get a scholarship....they do own a business, but it's not going that well, and plus they also got my sister, a junior in high school, to send to a college.

what should i do??? i was thinking going into thousands of contests, but that's not easy, nor will it be even close to enough.

any advice?

T.T nobody is replying to me ;(

There are very few scholarships for prep schools. Most people here don't know about them: We know about scholarships for college. Your best bet would be to contact prep schools and ask for their advice. Also use Google.

I saw your other thread, and just now I see you are applying to Andover. Andover's financial aid is as good as it gets. But I don't know how it treats applications from people with E2 visas. We are domestic applicants, so I don't know if we will have a different situation.

Good luck. Be sure to apply; that's the best way to find out what will happen.
