So I'm just wondering, what university should I go to? Would I even get in? I'm confused... I really really want to move to NYC. Also I want to be an ER physician or a.. Idk but somewhere in the MED field. And I do have scholarships. But anything 30,000 and under would be fine. Thanks :)

Oh and preferably in upper eastside manhattan. Which is better? East or west side manhattan? The people? Snobby?creepy? Please I love the city but sadly I live in Orlando. Also I really like Columbia and NYU. I was invited and accepted into Stanford and Pending on Harvard, I don't want to go to those schools though. Thanks again

I know it's 45,000 to go to nyu or Columbia, but I think columbia is good with financial aid.

I think your SAT and ACT are a little lower than the average for Columbia and a little under for NYU. Also, your application was accepted by Stanford? Did you have any killer hooks that got you accepted?

Haha yeah on my PSAT I got a perfect score. I know I sound pretty stupid if I got a perfect on PSAT but not on the SAT :P. I kinda cared too much about friends junior and senior year…regret. But the 3.9-4.0 is supposed to be a 4.9-5.0 because I have all waded classes. Also I took AP Euro,AP biology, AP English, AP calculus and I self taught and passed a college calculus class(my high ran out of math classes) because I took algebra 1 in 7th grade, and geometry in 8th… So that’s how haha left out important details

but realistically, you won’t get into columbia.
your application isn’t competitive enough to be taken into consideration there.

if you do want to know though (because my sister goes to columbia and i’ve stayed over at campus once or twice): the area next to harlem is actually really nice. campus is only a couple blocks from central park so you can go running in the morning and whatnot. there’s a really lovely hungarian bakery nearby, and ollie’s is just across the street for cheap + delicious food. overall, the blocks surrounding campus cater to college students and are really nice. harlem is kind of eh but so long as you stay away after it gets dark you’ll be fine.

aand in my honest opinion, some of the girls that go to barnard seem a bit snobby, but they’re still really nice (and hey, if i went to a school like barnard i’d probably be a bit conceited about it too, lol). most of the columbia students i’ve met are really nice, though.

and idk much about NYU but you have a decent shot at getting in there.
