Chances for Stanford, Columbia, NYU

My friend would like to know her chances:

GPA: 4.0 UW
SAT: 1650 (June 06), expected 1800-2000 by December

Took 10-15 Community College Courses, Straight A's in all of them
Major: Psychology (Took 3 Community College classes)

Extracurriculars:
Volunteered in Hospital
Student Council Officer
Interact Ambassador
Volunteering Hours (200+)

Essay: 1-10 scale .. expected to be 7 (She didn't tell me this, but it will be around here)
Recommendations: 10

Chances at these schools:
Stanford
Columbia
New York University

Errrrr Isn't the SAT score (not just) a little bit too low?

Nice! A 4.0 correlates with a 1650?

Then I should have like a 5.0 uw!, yet i have a 3.6........................................................................................................................................

I think she'd get into NYU.

OK before anything, the SAT score doesn't look good. Do something about it!

Unless you get at least 2100 in December you should probably look elsewhere. NYU might be a match if you can get a 1900 or so

She'll get in to NYU.
Columbia and Stanford require much higher SAT

Is this serious? Stanford and Columbia are impossible, NYU might take someone with that SAT into their GSP (remedial) program. Talk about a high school with rampant grade inflation! Is she one of 100 with a 4.0?

Hey, I know this is cliche, but some people are just bad test takers and very smart with good GPAs, and sometimes it's vice versa. Of course grading is inflated, but . . . well, yeah.

Needs SAT scores +600. Stronger ECs will also be recommended.
I believe that she will have an extremely hard chance getting into any of the above. :(
