<p>First off, i played extensive travel hockey throughout all of high school, and my grades are low because of it. My gpa is 2.93 and a great public high school in Pennsylvania. I got a 1650 on my SAT and a 25 on the ACT. I lettered 4 years in ice hockey and 2 years in lacrosse. I am in 2 school clubs, and I have about 140 hours of volunteer service and have had one job before. I am applying for early decision to Miami University of Ohio, which is a binding agreement because it is my number one school. Since i am out of state, i obviously have to pay much more. My parents can afford everything though, will that help me get in?</p>
<p>It is probably wise that you are applying ED - since the stats are on the low end. My DS’s roommate last year had similar statistics and was accepted ED as an OOS full pay. Good luck!</p>
