Hey, guys! I recently submitted my common app, supplements, and SAT/ACT scores to all the schools I'm applying to. Reed is my first choice and dream school (I applied to Cornell and Swarthmore too, but I think that even if I got into either of those, I'd go to Reed).

I'm horribly shy and am very prone to cracking under pressure. (Think Miss South Carolina - that's me when put on the spot), so I'm worried that, if anything, an interview would hurt my chances to get into Reed (plus the idea just terrifies the heck out of me).

I've had a 4.0 all through high school (unweighted) and take some AP/honors classes. I got a 2160 on the SAT (760 CR, 720 M, 680 W), and a 33 on the ACT (34 E, 34 R, 31 M, 34 S, 8 W). My ECs are subpar, just NHS, tutoring, Spanish NHS, and some community service clubs.

As for my essays, my common app essay is, according to my English teacher, "amazingly unique" and "sparkles with my personality," and is about how I was raised in a very strange way by my father. I put a lot of time into my "Why Reed?" essay and I think it's fine.

Sorry for the essay, but do you think I have a chance at Reed without an interview? What does an interview even entail?
