Could I recover from my poor Freshman and Sophomore years and get into MIT?

Im currently a Junior in High School and was wondering if my credentials are good enough to get into MIT. Ive done very well in math and alright in English, History and Science so far. Freshman and Sophomore years were kind of average in most part and I know I didnt do as well as i could have. I took all honors classes and got b, b+'s in english, history, and science, and an A(95) in algebra. I took the maximum amount of credits (band, gym, health, italian 2) and ended up with a 93 unweighted gpa. Sophomore year i took all honors classes again, doubled up in math and took geometry and algebra 2 and got an A(95) in both classes, a B(84) in english, B+(89) in biology, and the maximum amount of credits again (taking photo, music tech, band, italian 3) and ended up with a unweighted gpa of 93. This year i really developed a love for math. Going into Junior year, i reevaluated my goals and decided to actually apply myself and my grades are better. So the summer going into junior year, i decided to take trig over the summer and got a 97. my junior schedule is currently apush(87) am cit (general class required for graduation)(98), ap eng (93), accting (98), band(100), ap calculus ab (98), honors chemistry (92). Im also independently studying ap computer science and plan on taking the ap test in may. i may also indepently study calc bc and take the bc exam). If i continue with these grades, how will my chances be at getting into mit. i know i messed up real bad freshman and sophomore years but if i push it junior and senior year (plan on taking calc bc and linear alg or multivariable calc and linear algebra for math, ap eng, either ap chem or physics or both, band, and maybe an elective), could i recover from a poor first two years? Ive also done outdoor track since freshman year, marching band since freshmn year, swimming since sophomore. what do you think i could do to raise my chances? thanks for any advice

also i plan on becoming either an engineer, computer scientist(programming ect), or actuary

It depends on how much your grades improve and what kind of talents and personal qualities you have. It also depends on what your test scores are. It looks like you have a chance, but it is important to remember that there is nothing anyone can do to ensure getting into MIT, and you should consider other schools in addition to MIT as a result.
