Could my LAC get me into investment banking?

So I know IB usually only recruits from the ivies. However, I've been reading that some IBs recruit from top LACs.

I'm going to centre college in the fall. It's not a top 10 LAC or anything but it's ranked well. Is there any chance of getting into investment banking while majoring in financial economics at centre?

Any advice is welcomed. Just a random note, I plan on eventually getting a top MBA. If I knew what I knew now I would have aimed higher for undergrad, but centre is the highest ranked school in the state (KY) and I thought that would be good enough.

You go to school there.
You have access to your school’s job postings.
You have access to your school’s alumni database.
You have access to your career’s service.

Why are you asking us?
You can answer that question better than anyone else here.

Try to get some finance-related experience locally, then move on to regionally (biggest city near your location), then try for the big guns. Doesn’t have to be in the order, but if you start small you can definitely give it a good try
