So 1 day before the deadline and I'm still between Penn State Univeristy- main campus and NEU.

My only reservation about NEU is the disrupted social life due to co-ops. Right now my major is for international business but I will probably switch to business undecided.

I loved the campus, the city and the connections and prestige that a NEU degree hass to offer. But does 5 years versus 4 make a difference for your career? Also are the co-ops really life changing?
Generally What makes everyone at NEU LOVE their school??

I wouldn’t think the extra year would do anything but improve your job prospects, since you’ll already have a year of work experience when looking for jobs (companies like to hire experienced people).

I hear about a lot of people who are worried about co-op ruining your social life, but I don’t really think its that big of an issue. You’re going to meet a lot of people in college. Yeah, some semesters you may not be able to hang out with a good friend because they’re away, but chances are you’re never going to be totally alone. Also, quite a few students will take co-op positions in Boston, so though you may not see them every day, they’ll be around.
