Could rapping count as an extracurricular?

I wasn't sure where to put this.

My friends and I created a rap group in which we record raps and create original beats, mostly in the form of satire of the current 'rap game'. My friend and I actually won a legitimate competition for a music video about safe driving for teens, with a large cash prize. Is this worthy of a college resume? It IS pretty unique.

I’d include it - it’s a great accomplishment. Congrats!

I’d incude it as well. Unique, self-sought passion. Maybe even an arts supplement with some songs.

When I first read this, I read it with only one “p” and was kind of weirded out. But yes include it - it shows passion and dedication.

The problem is, because we’re satirizing modern rap, it isn’t exactly something I would want to show the college guys (there’s a LOT of cursing, and we kinda write about women/money in a sarcastic way). The safe driving one is completely fine though, I guess I’ll just have to enter more contests.
