Could somebody help me with these math problems from the blue book?

1: in the 30-day month of April, for every 3 days it rained, there were two days it did not rain. The number of days in april on which is rained was how much greater than the number of days on which it did not rain?

2: a four digit integer, WXYZ, in which W, X, Y, and Z each represent a different digit, is formed according to the following rules.

X= W+Y+Z

W=Y+1

Z=W-5

Please help me figure these out:)

Thank you.

Answer to number is 6 and number two is 5940.

If it helps on number 1 I got 14, don’t know what I did wrong. What I did was that it rained 9 times (I drew 3 rows of 10 and marked out every 3rd dot) and I subtracted that from 30 (30-9=21) it said that for two days it did not rain so Subtracted 2 from 9. I then subtracted 21-7 and got 14.

1) there are 3 days rain and then 2 no rain, so 5 days, in 30 days there are 6x5 days. So rain is 3x6=18 days and no rain is 6x2= 12 days. So difference is 18-12=6

Oh wow thank you, I completely misread the problem for some reason. Any ideas on number two?
