Could someone explain to me...

Coming on CC, looking at the chances threads especially, I see that a lot of students here are in multiple, very time-consuming clubs and are also enrolled in all advanced courses (also taking up a lot of time). My question is: how is it even possible for CCers to be involved in so many activities and dedicate the sum of their efforts to make each worthwhile? Plus, what about time conflicts of those activities? Is it just me or are other people a little less super-human as well?

Well, a lot of people exagerate what they do. I remember somebody said that they did 40 hours or something of clubs a week and when somebody asked them to break down the times they couldn't do it. But, if you list all of your activities then you'd be surprised at what you do. I thought I was really inferior too but then I actually listed what I did and I was surprised. But I love the people who claim to do 200,300,400 hours of work at a hospital while caring for their sick grandmother and simultaneously do 4 varsity sports and research.
