Could Someone explain your subject system?

I'm from Ireland so i'm not familiar with your system!
I get the SATs
its just the AP subjects ,IB Subjects and honours that i dont understand,

Are some harder than others or are they accelerated classes?

It would just be useful so i know what im reading!!

They are all accelerated classes, but the level of difficulty of the classes changes from school to school. Most often, IB classes are the toughest in the school. However, not many schools offer IB classes. At some schools IB = AP = Honors as well. IB classes are based on the IB curriculum, which to be honest I don’t know too much about. AP classes are college level classes which have a test at the end of the year (AP tests) which are used to determine whether or not you are eligible for college credit in the class. In many schools AP classes are tougher than honors, but in others (such as mine) they are as difficult as honors classes. Honors classes are simply accelerated classes, not to be confused with college level classes. In many school honors are the lowest of the accelerated classes, but in schools such as mine they are on par with AP classes.
