Could someone recommend me a college/university that is really strong in the social sciences and humanities. However also one less stringent and more lax in terms of math requirements? In addition to one that is on the east coast if possible

I know I maybe casting a widenet here in terms of what I am looking for in terms of recommendations, however I would just like to here some names.

Yes, you are – far too wide a net. You need to be far more specific unless you want dozens of suggestions. Heck, any of the top 50 or so LACs and universities would fit.

Public or private?

Coed or single-sex?

Rural, suburban, or urban?

Geographic location?

Small (< 2000), medium (2000-10000), or large (10000+)?

Is cost an issue?

Do you want certain extracurricular activities, like a fencing team?

Popular Greek life or no Greek life?

Do you have special needs (LD, physically disabled, etc.)?

How selective do you want? What are your stats?

-Preferably small to medium but large is ok

-In terms of extracurricular s I would like alot of activities

-Cost is an issue but I hope to get a good financial aid package

-I would like Greek life

Yes I do have learning disabilities especially in mathematics

-I’m looking for a school that’s fairly selective to very selective, however I would like to see one that doesn’t read too much into high school test scores as my disability has skewed the results drastically.

In terms of my stats I only have my high school record which is mixed. However I have been admitted to a college and I hope my Freshman year will go well so I can find another school to transfer to.

Here is my high school record,

I have a 2.5 GPA and an ACT score of 19 from high school. However much of this was due to a learning disability in mathematics as well as a rather poor performance from freshman year of high school. None the less though I managed to do decent after freshman year and my GPA showed a strong upward trend. I also took AP classes and relived AP credit on at least two AP tests. Also my extracurricular activates throughout high school can be described as very good which included a college program for credit at Cambridge University in Britain, serving as an intern or one of the Presidential Campaigns, writing on politics and history and having my work published along with much more in terms of extracurricular activates.

Some schools I figured I could get into after the first year of college. However most schools like that require calc something I can’t do at all and something I have no chance of doing ether n high school or college.

Let’s see: you need FA, you want a selective to highly selective college, you had a 2.5 GPA and a 19 ACT in HS. LogicWarrior is right. Concentrate on your grades in your current college. Do well and you have a chance.
