<p>I just gave it a quick glance, and only one thing really stood out to me.</p>
<p>When I was working on my own resume, I was advised not to use the word “proficient” with respect to computer skills unless you do have a very high working knowledge of the program, particularly when it comes to the MS Office suite. The interviewer may ask you to demonstrate your knowledge, and you wouldn’t want to fall short there. I don’t know if that point might apply to you, but I thought I would mention it.</p>
<p>I hope this isn’t too late, because honestly, you really need some work on this.</p>
<p>One, and this is a suggestion, place a line such as this to seperate and organize your area’s better. This will present the reader an organized resume that isn’t overwhelming and allows them to look at each section more in depth. As an FYI, I need 15 posts to reply to a PM, so each reply will include something different.</p>
<p>Ex. Below:</p>
<p>Honors and activities</p>

<p>Received a scholarship</p>
<p>Skills</p>
<hr>
<p>Proficient in Excel</p>
<p>Second</p>
<p>Get rid of your community college.</p>
<p>It takes up valuable room on your resume and really provides no useful information. If you want to talk about it in your interview, but try to stray away from it. (while they are wonderful stepping stones for a better future, your education should only show your current college).</p>

<p>Specify your activities.</p>
<p>If you helped raise 10,000 dollars for cancer, be as specific as you can and include the date</p>

<p>Also, be sure to specify your scholarship</p>
<p>Beta Alpha Sigma scholarship June 2009
- received scholarship based on a maintaining a 3.5 gpa at community college</p>

<p>BOLD YOUR TITLES! You need to draw their attention in on specific points but still maintain a level of professionalism.</p>
<p>Finally, GO TO YOUR CAREER CENTER!</p>
<p>Every college has one and they all will want to help you as best they can. If you get into a Big 4 accounting firm, then that increases the prestige of their college but a small, but important amount.</p>
<p>I’m a merchandiser for pepsi right now, so I know your pain. And oddly enough, a Finance and accounting double major. Coincidentally, I have a slightly lower GPA, but like you I have no debt HAHA!</p>
