Could taking the SAT a second time hurt me?

Hello. I took the SAT back in May and I scored a 1970. I got 660 in writing, 690 in reading, and a 620 in math. The thing is I’m not very confidant that I’ll be able to do as we’ll again, or that I’ll have a tiny improvement. Would it be better if I just stick to my current score and maybe colleges will be impressed that I was able to nab a good score on only one try?

Honestly, statistically, you really should try again. Usually two attempts are like a given.
