Could you chance me? (MA Statistics or MA Math of Finance)

<p>Hey all, </p>

<p>I was wondering if you all could give me a read on how competitive my application would be at Columbia's MA Statistics or MA Mathematical Finance programs. (I'm open to any suggestions on schools, so please share if you have any). </p>

<p>I'm currently a senior at NYU with a Economics major and Math minor. Here are my stats: </p>

Statistics: A-
Money & Banking: A-
International Econ: B+
Financial Economics: A-
Honors Tutorial (Undergraduate Thesis 1 of 2 classes): A

Money & Banking (MA): A</p>

<p>Strategic Decision Theory: (Currently Enrolled)
Microeconomics (MA): (Currently Enrolled)
Debt Instruments and Markets (MBA): (Currently Enrolled)
Volatility (MBA): (Currently Enrolled)</p>

<p><strong>Math Classes</strong>
Calc I: A-
Calc II: B
Calc III: A
Linear Algebra: B+</p>

<p>I'm assuming (hoping) I will do well on the GRE. I did pretty well on the SAT, so if you could assume my score doesn't impede me from getting through the door and then chance based off my grades/coursework, that would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>People don't typically respond to chance posts in the grad forum...primarily because ones chances depend on so many factors it's impossible to say.</p>
