Could you tell me the bottom line of SAT at these college?

<p>Hamilton and Colgate are top colleges. 1600 is not enough. You need at least mid 1800 or high 1900s in order to be safe. It also depends on what your HS GPA is.</p>

<p>that is not good enough for hampshire either probably, and st. lawrence has an average of about 1800. i dont think any essay any make up for that really. shoot for 1800-1900 for these schools at least. you can always google “X university average sat score” and at least one page will have it.</p>

<p>Google “Common data set” 2009 “name of school” - most schools have this posted on their sites, although it can be impossible to find without a search like this. It will give you the data on the 2009 entering freshman class. Very helpful.</p>
