counselor report

Hello.

Can me counselor score choice the tests and results required to send to the MIT? As there is score choice for students is it OK if my counselor omits those unnecessary where I did bad?

The only reports MIT officially accepts are the official ones sent from CollegeBoard. I believe they accept score choice, but I’m not sure.

Their blog/admissions website indicates that they only take your highest scores into account.

Yes they do accept score choice. I was wondering if my counselor would have to report all scores why do they accept s.c.?

Well, they accept it because they really do only consider your best scores. To my knowledge, your counselor only has to submit whatever test results your school tracks. If they track your SAT/AP scores, then they will be on your transcript.

It’s not really a huge deal - your counselor should know what to send in.

My school doesn’t track anything regarding SAT scores. (I am international). So my counselor asked me to write for him this document. I don’t want to report my very low SAT score. I have already used score choice and didn’t send it. So, I am asking is this allowed? I think it is, because if they know my all scores (it doesn’t matter if it’s official score) there’s no much use of score choice then.

Anybody? I am really not sure about this.

It won’t matter if you do or don’t send your lower scores. MIT will only consider the one that is the highest.

There is no penalty for you if you report a low score, so the best option is to be honest and report all scores.
