All I can say is watch out for designing women and baby-faced white house guys who want to be called Mr. But Cloe is looking better this year and the jerks are still jerks. But the boy - what do you make of his being so out of it and lame? Makes you want to slap him! He would never apply to an academy!!! Jack, Jack, why were you doing this - just to go against type?

I watched with 2 15-year olds last night and the biggest laugh they got was when Derek (a sappy character) said he was 15. He looks soooo much older.

Chloe looks much better. Sean Astin was terrific. Has Edgar gained weight? Can you believe how they're gaslighting the First Lady. Jack is amazing (duh!). I can't wait for next Monday.

Thanks for the good wishes for my husband. He'll be in for a few more days and is trapped watching tv which he thinks is only for watching sports. So, I'm hoping he's finally hooked on "24".

HC.... "24" is now in its 5th season, you really can start watching it without having seen the previous 4 seasons, since each season is a brand new story.

I did not start watching the program until last year. Loved it so much, borrowed my friend's copies of the 1st two seasons and then purchased the 3rd season. Had a marathon viewing session of all those past "24's" over the summer.

Wonder who will be the mole in CTU? I can't believe that it will be Sean Astin ...maybe Edgar, after what happened to his mom, and yea he sure did put on the lbs!

I thought Dereck did a good acting job, but no way 15!

prayerful mom - are you in SC?
That would make four that I know of on this forum.
Nice to see our state so well represented!

MOT - How's the hubby? Better I hope.

BTW, I tried to post this msg last night, but I don't see it anywhere. My apologies if it gets duplicated somehow.

bz,

Thanks for asking. He's doing better and will have no long-term problems but will likely be in the hospital this week. Although not quite a spa, I could sure use a week in bed.

Yes, there are cc gremlins. They occasionally eat posts.

Bz.... no I'm not in So. Carolina..I'm just a news junkie.

It's almost Monday night!!! What do you think is in the canisters? I just read "Demon in the Freezer" so I see smallpox everywhere.

Thanks for all the pm's and well wishes this past week. Hubby is home from the hospital and will definitely be back to normal in a week or so.

Momoftwins! Wonderful news that the hubster. Bet he's pretty glad to be home. AND, I'm starting to see twins everywhere on this forum! Its getting almost as good as 24 around here. LOL

Jamzmom,

One of those twins is my very own cadet - who finally joined college confidential. Now I get to be in your small club of parents whose kids will talk to them here. Hope she doesn't find out how much chocolate I've been eating. ;)

It was so good. My boys started screaming when Jack said that he was going to see "Walt" at the White House. Then, we were on our way to bed and checked the messages and our Congresswoman left a message saying that Jake had received a nomination. A night doesn't get much better than that.

Oregon Mom,

Congratulations to Jake!!!

Congrats Jake!

What side is Sean Astin really on (hobbit Sam to 24!)? And where did Jean Smart go out the window?

Jake said that Sean Astin can't be bad! He was good as a hobbit and Rudy too. That hour just went too fast. Its such a great show.

I loved him back in Goonies! But I think this is his opportunity to "play against type" and be a bad guy with a baby face as an ubercrat in Dolce & Gabbana black suits...Jack vs. Sean - that could be good!

As a complete aside, the evil chief of staff could not possibly reflect the current WH Chief of staff Andrew Card, who attended USMMA, but graduated from U. South Carolina...Card has spoken at the school and been helpful in getting increased attention and appropriations to KP.

Okay. This is probably the funniest thing i've heard about Jack Bauer. Click on the link at the bottom right of the page that says "who is Jack Bauer." Prepare to be entertained.

We wrote down several of the Jack Bauer lines. "When Jack Bauer was in kindergarten he killed a terrorist for show and tell." "Jack Bauer had a surprise birthday party... once." "Guns don't kill...Jack Bauer does"

Oregonm.... i love those :)

Naps06...having mucho trouble with my pc, unable to get that site to open now, maybe I'll try later.

Maybe somebody can answer my question concerning season 4 (warning to anyone who has not seen past 24's..this is a spoiler)...

what became of the son of the sleeper cell family, Behrooz Araz? He had a tracking device planted on him and then what happened???
I must have missed that episode.

So sorry Oregon mom...belated congratulations to Jake!

Jack Bauer was never addicted to heroin. . . heroin was addicted to Jack Bauer. Superman wears Jack Bauer pjs. Death doesn't hurt Jack Bauer, it just makes him really mad. Jack Bauer never misses, if he didn't hit you he was aiming at the terrorist 12 miles away.

there are a lot more on the sound byte.
