<p>With a little over 48 hours until the season debut of '24', I thought it might be fun to guess what earth shattering event will occur in the opening hour that will profoundly effect our hero, Jack. Any guesses?</p>
<p>Mine ....I suspect that Jack's daughter will be bumped off.</p>
<p>It is amazing that outside of drinking bottled water, no one eats. Although I believe that I remember an episode in season 2 when members of CTU shared a pizza..not Jack though..he was too busy saving the world.</p>
<p>Kim always messes up things! We can't wait. Its going to be so stressful. Two hours Sunday and two on Monday. Life will be good again. We love Jack!!!!! Best show ever...</p>
<p>My husband ended up in the hospital this weekend. He doesn't especially like 24 because he thinks it's too intense. But after that Bears game, it was just what he needed to relax in the hospital. I have to leave now to go visit him so I can be back in time for tonight's 2 hours.</p>
<p>momoftwins...sorry to hear about your husband, i do hope as of this posting he is better.</p>
<p>Can you believe they knocked off Pres. Palmer??? I was soooooooooo upset, he was one of my favorite characters. Oh well, at least he was resurrected in a commercial, not the same prestige as Pres.... but hey it pays the bills!</p>
<p>I think Tony will recover........ too bad about Michelle though.</p>

24 gets cut off in last 10 minutes
TV fans hit the roof when local newscast begins before show ends

Midlands fans of the FOX show 24 are used to cliffhangers but nothing like what happened during the fifth-season premiere Sunday night.
WACH-TV, Columbias FOX affiliate, cut away from the last 10 minutes of the blockbuster show to start its 10 p.m. newscast leaving fans in the Midlands hanging.
Somebody has lost their mind, said Steve Arnold, a fan who was watching the show at his Irmo home.
FOX has been promoting the shows two-part, two-hour season premiere for weeks. It was scheduled to start at 8 p.m., after the conclusion of the NFL playoff game between the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears.
The game went long, pushing the start of 24 back about 10 minutes and ideally pushing back the start of the newscast.
WACH has a contract with WIS-TV, which produces WACH news programs, to broadcast its news at 10 p.m. If, for some reason, WACH has to delay broadcast, the station can record the newscast and air it later.
Sunday night, that didnt happen...."</p>
<p>Okay, I'm going to show my ignorance here... I've figured out this is a new show. Reality show? We only get one channel here and that is snowy... ;-)</p>
<p>PrayerfulMom, that type of thing could only happen in SC. LOL I heard about it through the grapevine and just had to shake my head. They cut their own throats by cutting 10 minutes of their very own #1 rated program. I'm surprised an uprising hasn't occured on the streets of Columbia in front of the Fox station. Lame wasn't it? :)</p>
