Countdown to Acceptance Letters

isnt vitamin water bad for you? there's sugar and the vitamin isnt absordable by the body

No it is absorbed just not as much as when you eat fruits or vegetables. The thing that's bad for you is the ascorbic acid (vitamin c). Since its an acid its not good for your teeth

Jasmyn is right about the ascorbic acid. It will kill your teeth. Excessive amounts of orange juice when I was pregnant removed most of the enamel on my teeth. Is your mom or dad a dentist, Jasmyn? A lot of people don't know how harmful ascorbic acid is for your teeth. I certainly didn't.

Vitamin water is my crack. So is instant cappuccino (you know, the kind you add to hot water? No fancy shmancy machines for me).

43 dayssssssssssssssssssssssss

oh wow! i consume a lot of ascorbic acid. like 1000% of the recommended daily value. i should quit, but i thought it was good for the immune system? i have a low immune system, it makes it even worse that i live in a cold, wet area.

DARNIT they've taken over my thread as well.

42 days and 11 hours, technically. :)

haha that is a tad obsessive, but I will go with it :]

I should probably cut down on the orange juice too. does it affect artificial teeth or the bond between a real tooth and an artificial? I've chipped two of my teeth but orange juice practically runs in my blood. my family goes through at least 2 cartons a week plus i have it every day at school...

Orange juice is so good for you when you have a cold... I literally have stopped being sick sooner when I drink more orange juice.

I have a widget on my Mac that counts down the seconds, dude. Now THAT'S obsessive.

haha I WANT ONE! Wait, you know the thread that I started 'what to bring to Boarding School?', well apparently senay and theamazingjasmyn have the power of making the thread be CLOSED.........how do you do that? hmmmm... oh well! how much time do we have now?

Hhaha... We have 42 days and 21 hours. Oops, I was counting down until 3 AM on March 10th, not 3 PM when online acceptance come out.

I'm so psyched, ugh, I want it to come NOW.

I didn't make the thread close so don't blame me and I get like 5000 percent of my daily value of vitamin c a day but i also remember to brush my teeth like after i drink something with a lot of vitamin C. I don't get sick hardly ever the last itme I had a cold was almost a year ago and the last time I was like throwing up was december 26 2007 (I'm an emetephobe so I remember things like that) but anyways admissions decisions are almost here.

lol, you live in texas. a hot place, if you did get a cold, i would be shocked :)

Actually it's 39 degrees right now and its raining and tomorrow the high is 32 this isn't california

And colds aren't caused by cold weatther they are a virus

ive gotten colds just because i was cold. stuffy nose, coughing, etc.

Thats not a cold that should stop when you go inside

ive gotten colds just because i was cold. stuffy nose, coughing, etc.

a cold is cause by germs getting into your system, but the reason people connect them with cold weather is because when you are cold, your immune system gets weaker and then you are more prone to being infected by germs. the germs are just everyday germs, the cold weather just helps them out a bit. (just a little science lesson...)
