35 Days its coming. its so soon. (but still kinda far away) what are you going to do that day? check at home, at school, iphone lol ? i know some of my friends have planned their days around it lol

I'll be nervous all day, wont be home till 5:30 due to sports, then I will make a mad dash to my laptop and stare at the email.

I'm soo glad im gonna miss the endless refreshing from 4:30 - 5:00, and the freaking out if its 5:02 and I didnt get any emails yet. I've looked through the eager posts on cc during decision day last year, it was nerve racking even for me!!!!

Gadad: his name is an inside joke, I believe. He's perfectly capable of spelling "hopeful".
At least I think so.

^ Of course I am! (and you're right IndiaRubber, it is an inside joke).

@GAdad - I've actually never seen that sn, but I'm pretty amused there was one more person with such a similar username.

In case anyone is wondering, I was making my username with a friend, and I typed in "college hopeful". My friend said "Naww, you have to have a deliberate spelling oddity - use a zero for the 'o' or something"

Being silly, I made a big show of punching the 'l' a second time, and said "There!"
- My decision has comeback to haunt me.....I feel like people are judging it whenever they see it....(Search for a post by Cato91 saying he won't see me or princesbell around Harkness Tower ((Yes, it is Yale..lol))....and giggle at my PARANOID response)

I have to work from 4-9 on march 31-it's gonna be the longest five hours of my life, followed by my breaking every traffic law ever written in order to get home as quickly as possible, just so i can open up my email and see the rejection letter lol

^ Aww, that's too bad. Hopefully your decision will be worth the wait!

34 days!

Almost only 33 days, lol :) I am going to be such a wreck... I got all jittery just from a simple email from an admissions officer who wanted to know something small about my application... I wish I were calmer and cared less ;-)

32 days, just about a month to go!

decision day = day before my birthday

Interpret that as you wish...

I think Harvard may be the only college that sends my decision via email.
Everyone else is snail mail/application status.

I wish I had more snail mail. E-mail is cooolllldddd, man. :(

Doesn't harvard send it by email and regular mail? If they do, i'm getting rejected twice :(

I read on Harvard's website that they send out the e-mails at 5pm EST on March 31st.

Snailmail... haha it takes 1 month for them to get to me. i want more emails or web decision notifications.

^ Seconded
I'd rather have a quick stab in the heart and die immediately than suffer from slow drainage of blood and sustained pain. Lol

^ Nice analogy...

yeah man an email you just open up real quick, see the rejection, and delete it forever. A letter you gotta slowly open the envelope, pull out the paper, scan the page for the part where it says you got rejected, and then youve still got the stupid letter that you just gotta look at like its mocking you

harvard sux

You're cool.
