COUNTDOWN TO HARVARD DECISIONS!! ahh

My friends are planning to have an ivy party. Chill, eat, relax until six-ish, then all check together and then cry...or celebrate...

^
That's horrifying, Sherlock.

I don't want anyone within a large radius of me when I'm opening my decisions.

omg an ivy league party??? What kind of schools do you guys go to? Cuz at my school i bet only like 5 or 6 people even know what day ivy decisions come out. . .

funny side note: i'll be visiting my safety school in ahem Texas on March 31. Kinda weird.

ivy league party? a quick way for friends to become...not friends

yeah that sounds dangerous...what happens when one of you gets in and the rest don't.
I agree with amadeuic, im going to be completely alone when i check my decisions. But i am gonna hang out with some friends and keep myself busy until 530 ish so i dont get caught in the whole rush to get on the sites when they all crash

haha im definately checking at school... because where I live ill still be in my 7th period class when decisions are mailed out.... lol

what time do they come out?

When I open mine, there won't be anyone around, nor will there be anyone who will want to be around..... It will be midnight, on the stroke of twelve....Sort of fitting, isn't it? You know, "When the clock strikes twelve you will receive your letter of doooom." :) lol

after i get the decisions i'm either going to go out to eat with my family... or.... partake in activities that i will not remember

i was going to send in some more info, but was told by my interviewer not to bother: the decisions have already been made. If so, what are they waiting for?

they have been? thats a scary thought

is it just me or has the wait gotten substantially harder now that its actually march??
back in jan. feb. i was like oh still got a long time... and i only thought about it like ever so often days... but now its like every day! :/

gahhh why won't they just send them out!

Yes, I am curious about admissions decisions. Any ideas of when they finish deciding who's in and who isn't? Jeez, my fate is probably already decided!

apparently they're already decided... :</p>

Yeah, waiting HAS gotten harder since it's march. Oy.

I would think with 29K applicants, they're still making decisions. If you have additional info, send it in. It can't hurt, right?

I had a second interview today and was told that they had their first committee meeting last week. They're having the second one this week.

yea they are prob done by now, they are making a last few boarderline decisions, FA/scholarship decisions

I dont even kno why im on, this thread, Harvard is an extreme reach for me n I prob wont get in...

^ Speaking probability wise, virtually none of us will get in.

aww guys! be optimistic!

^ Ahahaha, but optimism leads to greater disapointment.
