countdown to priority decisions

Those are not really public schools. The public school system in California include SDSU, CSULB, Chico… The UC’s are completely separate and are way more expensive and way more difficult to get into. I have students at my high school that did not get into UCLA, Cal and UCSD with 4.3 GPA and near perfect test scores. It is almost $35,000 to attend UCLA and merit aid is very difficult to come by. The true state schools are so impacted that most students cant get there classes and it takes 5 years to graduate.

Does Maryland require mid-year reports to be sent?

@jibber I don’t think they require mid-year’s from priority decision applicants, as some of our decisions are probably made already.

Mid -year reports are not required, but some high schools may send them automatically. You might want to check with your guidance counselor to see what your high school’s policy is.

Final grades are required, but again, they are often sent by high schools automatically. People often claim they never turned final grades in…but that’s because their school did without them having to ask.
