<p>@davelee1054 Please stop misinforming people about merit aid. It completely depends on the school. There are some that require FA info to give out non FA scholarships, but there are very many schools that offer merit aid to top applicants with their application acceptance or in a separate letter a few days later. </p>
<p>Guys I was in NU thread yesterday… after anxiously waiting till 6 just when we were disappointed and cursing the “trolls”, decisions came out. I know this is tormenting but it might be today…</p>

But it is 7:51pm EST/6:51 CDT!! As far as I know, only Duke releases decisions this late and even they do it as far as 7pm EST!!</p>

My shot at estimated overall acceptance this year is 14%, a large decrease from last year! Because they plan to enroll 945 this year (a drop of close to 40 from last year), I believe they will only accept ~2500. </p>

<p>I think most people (~95%) would be happy with knowing if they were accepted and waiting a while for financial aid.
