Countdown to RD results!!

i still don't see what you guys are talking about.
Where can you find this on mymit?

Logout from MyMIT, sidewinder77.

alternatively, you can go to mit's homepage and click on "undergraduate" - it'll lead you to the same page.

mercurysquad - don't worry, I never really thought much about the gender ratio issue - was just weighing my chances at that point in time when I saw "11 March" and got a near heart attack because that's so soon.

Ben, has the international selection been completed? The website says regular mail, but will DHL packages still be sent to acceptees? How many days will these take to reach Southeast Asia?

Good luck everyone!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... After all these months, I'm finally going to know whether my dream school wants me at all... sniffs

Well now that you've clarified, let me mention - girls have 2x the chances than guys :p so good luck for the fat one!

COME ON GUYS WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU???? CROWD UP!!

mercurysquad - but then i read in matt's blog that the gender ratio of 50:50 will not be maintained, and that for the class of '08, the international male:female ratio was 70:30!

Wow... 03/11!!! Just 5 days to go...

mit_hopefulgirl - I know it takes 2-4 days for FedEx from the US to reach Thailand. I would assume DHL takes the same time as FedEx.

Anyway, internationals, you can actually know on the 12th or 13th if you've been accepted! Just call the DHL office of your country, and ask if there's a package from Massachusetts on its way to you by giving them your postal code. If yes, then you can certainly expect good news. :)

I haven't tried this method myself, but it worked last year for international CC'ers.

How am i going to concentrate on halo/school/weightlifting this week? Seriously, i'm going to be a wreck.

regular mail will probably reach CA by...3/14?

cool down guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hope 4 the best.
Best of luck to all of us.

geniezclone - but the 12th and 13th are during the weekend, so I don't know if the DHL office will be open?=)

I wish I were a US PR.

Man I think i'll just wait till pi day to decide whether I should give up hope or not... Calling the dhl office is way too scary!!! But thanks for that info geniezclone=)

Hmmm I dont think I can gather the guts to call and ask DHL if they have a packet! :o I'd rather wait and wait and wait and then give up ;)

Agreed... :p

what if you're not applying as an international applicant but live outside the country? will they still dhl it if its an accept?

expo2005 - I should think so?

Anyone knows if the "2 or 3 days needed for dhl packages to arrive" refer to actual days, or working days (mon-fri only)?

your mailing address is not a company, right? If so, then it should arrive any time (I'm only familiar with Fedex, and I reckon both are 24/7.)

ooh so packages could arrive on a sunday? scary... shivers

there is no mail on sunday - is it?
arghhh Im gonna kill myself before that - I dont want to get rejected :):)

mit_hopefulgirl - int'l selection will be completed early this week. :-)
