Couple of questions about the Chemistry Subject Test

Hey guys,
So I was wondering, as far as practice tests go, how difficult each company's are compared with other companies and with the actual thing. For instance, I get in the low to mid 700s on Barons and Kaplan, but i get in the high 700s/800 consistently with the Princeton review. I'm not sure if this is because one of them actually has harder tests, I'm consistently zoning out more while I take the tests in one specific book, a combination of the two, or even neither. The books I have are Barons, Kaplan, Princeton Review, and McGraw Hill (haven't taken any of these tests yet, got the book today). Also, I've heard many people say that all of the practice tests from review books are collectively made more difficult than the actual SATII, so that the companies can guarantee to raise your score, lets say, fifty points from the score you receive on their diagnostic test, when in actuality they have done nothing.
Thanks guys!

I just finished McGraw Hill and was totally disappointed with it–lots of errors, poor editing, the curve was way too generous compared to the other books I used.
I used an old Kaplan book I bought at Amazon–thought the tests were much harder than Barron’s, and thought Barron’s was tougher than Princeton Review.
Will know after the test which gave the most help, but I’d stick with PR and Barron’s.

For the practice tests, I’d say PR and the official blue book came out about the same.
Kaplan and Barron’s were more difficult, like you said.

hmm thats funny, the mcgraw hill curve is >79 = 800, while barrons is >74 = 800 and princeton is >77 = 800
but thanks!
