Did everyone get a course catalogue?

I got it in the mail a while back

Yep, I got one too.

So I shouldn't read anything into it. Did you both apply?

Sent in the supplement and payment, but haven't sent the actual application yet. When I visited, they gave them to everyone.

I know I'm clutching at straws but I applied ED and they just sent me the course catalogue. It doesn't seem to make much sense. If they accept me I have to go anyway and if they don't accept me I'll just feel bad about not being able to take any of the fascinating looking courses and they will have wasted money mailing me this heavy book.

I did ED too.

Yeah I got that, too, and I'm applying RD. I'd only sent in the pre-app and payment when I got it....waste of paper and makes us all too hopeful, in my opinion.

But that's okay I still reeeeaaaaaally want to go there!

If you didn't apply ED it would make sense for them to send it to you because if they accept you you still have a choice. But I applied ED and they sent it to another country. Yeah, it really got my hopes up and a lot of courses really looked interesting too.

I applied ED and didn't get a course catalog. do they send them to everyone who applies or what?

My D applied ED and she didn't get one, but last year my S received the catalog before he sent his pre application, so maybe it's just random.

I got one and I applied RD. I think it's just a marketing gimick.

i live in China, applied ED, and got one yesterday...

Did you get accepted? My daughter did get in last year but she got her course catalogue really early. So we were trying to figure out if it meant she was getting in. Are you a US citizen? My daughter applied ED as a US citizen living overseas.

I don't think it means anything. I got one in October after I sent in the pre-application.

Did you get in? My theory was that they wouldn't send a big, heavy course catalogue overseas unless they were planning to admit my daughter or at least thought she was a good candidate. They did accept her and she's there. To test my theory though we need people who got course catalogues and weren't accepted, or people who didn't get course catalogues and weren't accepted.

I posted this last year before we knew that she was getting in. It's probably not that interesting anymore to us.

I applied RD and they sent me 2 catalogues; the first, after my pre-app sheet and the second like a week ago.

i didn't get a course catalog...sniff sniff :(

yea i have gotten like 2 or 3 in the mail but none recently. i applied ED but i feel left out...

Sorry..it's RD, not ED. I felt really sleepy yesterday.
Anyway, I'm not a US citizen. I got it the day before yesterday, and my application was completed on Jan 30.
I think they automatically sent such a course book after my applicant was complete.
